How do I join the VPF vet network?

Please send an email to info@villagepetfoundation.org expressing your interest in becoming an authorized vet. Your practice must be located in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Which vets are eligible to join the network?

Accepted Answer

Any veterinarian located in California or Nevada within the Lake Tahoe Basin is eligible to join.

How do I refer patients to VPF?

Accepted Answer

Once you diagnose the pet care and cost of care and have discussed payment options with the pet owner, if they are not able to pay for services, please direct them to complete an online grant application form.

How do I receive payments from VPF?

Accepted Answer

VPF will email an approval of the financial grant amount to the vet.  VPF will pay all vets net-30 days upon receipt of invoice.

We will provide each vet with brochures that discusses our organization, how it works, who is eligible and what types of pet care we cover.
